One of my favourite pastimes is people-watching and some of my work is been inspired by that practice. But much more comes from my time growing up in the Caribbean. The joys and unhappiness. The sounds and scenes . Sun and warm rain. Hurricanes.  Witchcraft and ghosts. Though my stories are fictional, as the sayings goes, 'writers write what they know'.
